If you're thinking about buying in Riverview, DO YOUR RESEARCH! The water is contaminated! Salesman will tell you anything to sell, don't believe it, DO YOUR RESEARCH! The water has cancer causing agents in it. There is a toxic dump across the road that has been leaking toxins into the groundwater for decades. There have been at least three lawsuits pertaining to the water that were settled out of court. There have been no less than four "boil the water" notices in the last 8 months. If you leave water standing in the sink overnight it will turn the chrome drains black. None of this is disclosed to buyers. And you will receive a monthly water bill for water that is not potable!
Repairs to your home that are promised at the time of purchase are never done. Black mold is painted over and not treated and removed as it should be. Buyers are discouraged from getting an inspection prior to purchase. These homes are mostly dumps when they are brought to the park. They are given a cosmetic facelift and then advertised as 'renovated'. But underneath the shiney new paint its still the same old dump.
If you enjoy listening to Mexican music all weekend and barking dogs 24-7 then this is the place for you. Rules state that if your pet is a nusence they will be removed from the park. Management will only enforce certain rules and only for certain tenants. Oh, and you won't get the rules and regulations until after making your purchase!
So, if this sounds like a great place for you to live, I will sell you my mobile home, black mold, contaminated water, and Mariachi music included at no extra cost! Buyer beware!
